We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the AdPredictive Technology team in our Kansas City office.  We are a diverse group of open-minded, hardworking individuals who know how to both have fun and get things done.  Our infrastructure is 100% cloud based, leveraging a wide array of open source and commercial technologies.  As an integral part of our team, a Senior Data Engineer will:

  • Contribute in the design & implementation of data lake & data warehouse architectures

  • Build and manage efficient, scalable ETL pipelines in the AWS cloud
  • Architect and implement a multi-tenant data lake and data warehouse
  • Automate the integrations of data from a variety of heterogeneous data sources
  • Develop and improve data quality and cleansing procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering and client services teams on data acquisition and automation opportunities
  • Proactively meet standards for information security and compliance
  • Research the latest data platforms and architectures, and their relevance to solving our challenges


  • 5+ years Data / ETL Engineering & integration experience
  • 5+ years experience with Python software development
  • Experience with scalable AWS data solutions (e.g. Redshift, S3, EMR, etc.)
  • Experience with ETL / dependency management frameworks such as Airflow
  • Experience with Spark/PySpark
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Comfortable working with the Linux command line
  • Data modeling skills with a focus on data warehousing is a plus
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas, and to influence and set a collaborative cadence for the team
