Spreading Holiday Cheer: Our Company Tradition
‘Tis the season of giving, and at AdPredictive, the spirit of generosity is abundant. Each year, the AdPredictive team joins forces with Community LINC, a nonprofit organization that provides housing and support services to homeless families in Kansas City, for the Adopt-a-Family. The Adopt-a-Family program is an annual initiative during the holiday season where individuals or organizations, like AdPredictive, can partner with Community LINC, to provide gifts and support to families in need. Yet again, as the holiday season approached, our team was excited to spread the holiday cheer by making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
The team had two options to participate: either 1) cozy up at home and send in a monetary donation to Lisa (SVP Business Performance & Operations and the AdPredictive leader of the event), or 2) choose a thoughtful gift within a designated spending limit and have it delivered to the office. The response was heartening.
Nick Ackors, one of our team members, reflected on the experience, saying, “I always enjoy catching up with everyone, but the thing I liked the most about this was that we were all working together to help those in need.” This sentiment encapsulates the true essence of the event – unity in purpose and a shared commitment to making a positive impact.
Our CEO, Kristin Frank, shared her perspective on the event: “As a company, we believe in the power of community and caring. While we’re providing gifts and supplies, the community, and love we’re sharing make an impact, too.” Kristin’s words resonate with the deeper meaning behind our collective efforts – the genuine connection and care that extend beyond material gifts.
The AdPredictive team rose to the occasion, a remarkable display of teamwork and generosity. Collective efforts resulted in the support of four families, encompassing a total of 10 individuals, along with a single man confronting unique challenges. Well ahead of schedule, wish lists were thoughtfully compiled, paving the way to accelerate our gift-giving timeline to capitalize on seasonal deals. Remote team members even played an integral role by contributing both money and heartfelt gifts. During our year-end company lunch, the Kansas City team even managed to wrap dozens of gifts in under an hour. This remarkable feat not only showcases our dedication to spreading joy but also highlights the efficiency and unity that define the AdPredictive family.
In the end, it wasn’t about meeting a deadline or fulfilling a wishlist; it was about embodying the true spirit of the holidays. AdPredictive came together and the joy of giving echoed throughout the company, creating a festive atmosphere that embraced the warmth of the season. Gratitude emanates from our hearts as we reflect on the support and generosity of our community.
